I am a New Zealand-based designer and typographer. I work collaboratively in book design exploring innovative narrative forms that result in gallery-based experimental book installations and participatory performance works as well as catalogues and artists’ books. Through multiple projects with visual artists and musicians, much of my work investigates the concept of the expanded book in a digital age.
I have taught for eight years in the School of Design at the College of Creative Arts, Massey University, Wellington. My current role there is Associate Professor and Director: Projects and Partnerships which includes heading up Toi Aria, a research centre that explores design for public good.
